Legendarne duo z Brooklynu, Smif-N-Wessun, szykują się do wydania swojego czwartego albumu. Nowy krążek zatytułowany będzie po prostu „The Album”.
Smif-N-Wessun zadebiutowali w 1995 roku płytą „Dah Shinin’”. W 1998 wydali krążek „Rude Awakening” tyle, że nie jako Smif-N-Wessun tylko jako Cocoa Brovaz. Raperzy powrócili do pierwotnej nazwy zespołu wydając w 2005 roku płytę „Reloaded”.
Płyta „The Album” będzie promowana za pomocą singla zatytułowanego „Stomp Thru” nagranego z Joellem Ortizem i Rockiem z Heltah Skeltah.
Produkcją zajmą się między innymi Ken Ring, Rune Rotter, Soul Theory i Tommy Tee.
